One of the most prominent issues faced by these engines is the accelerated wear of the cylinder coating, leading to oil consumption, nozzle seat wear, camshaft wear, timing gear wear, and even cracked cylinder heads.
To address these concerns, we offer a comprehensive remanufacturing service for these engine blocks. Our process involves installing robust cast iron cylinder liners from Kolbenschmidt, ensuring their longevity. We meticulously perform tasks such as boring and honing the cylinders to STD specifications, decking the engine block, and grinding the timing gear with new bushings. Additionally, we polish the crankshaft to enhance its performance.
As part of the remanufacturing process, we replace various vital components with top-quality parts. This includes installing a brand new cylinder head sourced from Italy, along with new cylinder head bolts, valves from Freccia, and a new camshaft also from Freccia. Furthermore, we use Kolbenschmidt bearings for the camshaft, lifters, crankshaft main bearings, connecting rod bearings, and axial bearings. The connecting rod small end bushings are also replaced with Kolbenschmidt units.
To complete the overhaul, we fit a new water pump from Ina and utilize ORIGINAL seals for optimum performance and reliability.
With our meticulous attention to detail and the use of high-quality components, you can rest assured that your remanufactured engine will perform exceptionally, addressing the previous issues and ensuring long-lasting performance.
